Terms of service

These terms govern the use of the Aruba Drivers app and website (the service), operated by Aruba Drivers (we, us). By creating an account or requesting a journey you agree to them.

The service

We arrange private chauffeur journeys in Aruba, performed by independent, verified chauffeurs using their own vehicles. We show a fixed fare before you book, collect payment on your behalf, and pay the chauffeur after the journey.

Your account

You must be 18 or older, give accurate details, and keep your password private. You are responsible for journeys requested from your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, or repeated no-shows.

Booking and payment

The fare is fixed at booking for the route and car you choose and is paid at booking by card or from your prepaid balance. Points reduce the amount paid. Waiting time beyond the free period, extra stops and changed destinations may be charged at the rates shown in the app.

Cancellation

Our cancellation and refund policy is part of these terms. In short: cancel before your chauffeur is on the way and everything is returned; later cancellations may be charged.

Rewards

Points have no cash value, cannot be sold, and are redeemable only for journeys through the service. We may change the earning rate for future journeys with notice in the app. Points earned through fraud are removed.

Conduct and safety

Chauffeurs may refuse or end a journey for unsafe or abusive behaviour. Seat belts are required. Damage to a vehicle caused by a passenger may be charged.

Liability

Chauffeurs carry passenger liability insurance as required by Aruban law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fare paid for the journey concerned.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Aruba. Complaints go first to hello@arubadrivers.com; disputes not resolved within 30 days may be brought before the competent court in Aruba.
